Oi STU OPEN is the main Street Skate championship in Brazil and it goes way beyond the sport. It celebrates the essence of urban movement and it's spontaneous manifests, such as music, art and the audiovisual.
The contests will happen in Duó Square on Barra da Tijuca, between the 25th and the 30th of April 2017 and will gather 224 Skateboarders on Men's and Women's Open Category, that will dispute a total prize of Four Hundred Thousand Reais, the largest ever offered in contests on Latin America.
The Contest is homologated by the International Skateboarding Federation (ISF), World Cup Skateboarding (WCS), Brazilian Skate Confederation (CBSk) and by the State of Rio de Janeiro Skateboard Federation (FASERJ).
The Oi STU OPEN is valid as stage for the World Cup Skateboarding (WCS)'s Ranking, valid also as scoring on the Profesional Street Ranking's Brazilian Skate Confederation (CBSk) and by the State of Rio de Janeiro Skateboard Federation (FASERJ).
Tue April 25: Registration and Free Practice of all categories;
Wed April 26: Round 1 and 2 –Amateur;
Thu April 27: Round 3 – Men's Open;
Fri April 28: Round 4 and 5- Men's Open;
Sat April 29: Woman's qualifying and Men's Open semi-final;
Sun April 30: Men's and Women's Open Finals.
